​Welcome to Align Therapeutic Bodywork, we are dedicated to your well-being! To ensure the smooth functioning of our small business, we've outlined essential policies and procedures. Your respect and understanding of these guidelines contribute to our success. Please take a moment to review this information, and feel free to reach out with any questions.

I understand that unanticipated events occur in everyone's life. Unforeseen events such as flight delays, car problems, traffic considerations and business meetings are just a few reasons why one might consider cancelling an appointment. In my commitment to provide a unique and outstanding integrative massage experience to all of my clients and out of consideration for my time as a therapist, I have adopted the following policies:​

  • CANCELLATION/RESCHEDULING POLICY: You will receive an e-mail confirmation at the time of booking, plus an email reminder and text reminder of your appointment 48 and 24 hours before your appointment. In order to cancel/reschedule your appointment with NO charge, we require a minimum of 48 hours notice. Appointments cancelled or needing to reschedule within 48 hours of an appointment will be charged 50% of the non-discounted, full priced scheduled service. Appointments cancelled or needing to reschedule within 24 hours will be charged 100% of the non-discounted, full priced scheduled service. For extenuating circumstances, you may request an exception which will be granted or denied at our discretion. Thank you for your respect and understanding of this policy.

  • SICK CANCELLATION: If you find that you are ill due to Covid symptoms, or other illness and need to cancel your appointment within 48 hours, there will be a 100% cancellation fee, and 50% of this fee is retained as a credit for your next appointment. 

  • LATE POLICY: Please arrive for your appointment at least 10 minutes prior to the scheduled starting time. This time is to be used to get settled, use the restroom if needed, and to check in with me and have our pre-session intake. All services offered have a specific time schedule and early arrival allows for a relaxed and unhurried experience. If you are running late, please contact us at (303) 587-3119 to let us know as early as possible. If you arrive late, your session may be shortened in order to accommodate others whose appointments follow yours. Regardless of the length of the treatment actually given, you will be responsible for payment of the "full" session. Out of respect and consideration to your therapist and other customers, please plan accordingly and be on time. ​

  • PAYMENT: We require a card on file to schedule all appointments- no exceptions. Though nothing is charged at the time of booking, this helps reduce the chance of 'no call no show' appointments. Please still bring a form of payment with you to your appointment. We accept cash, all major credit/debit cards, apple pay, and HSA/FSA card payments. Please consider tipping your practitioner as this is a customary practice in our industry, and greatly supports your massage therapist. ​​

  • Health and Liability: As a health care practitioner we ask that you do not come for your session if you are ill, especially if you have a contagious illness. Massage can exacerbate the sickness and it also puts our team, and other clients at risk for infection. We ask that you arrive to your session with good hygiene and cleanliness and we will do the same. It's best not to arrive to your session with a full stomach as you may experience discomfort from the techniques and body positioning during the session. For your safety, I ask that you do not come to your session under the influence of alcohol or drugs as these things may mask your body's ability to receive the work safely.​

  • What To Expect: Appointment times vary from 60 minutes – 120 minutes and each session will begin with a brief intake to discuss any changes since your last session and your current state of wellness. Following our intake your massage therapist will leave the treatment room to allow you privacy as you undress to your comfort level and get on the table under the sheets. We promise to knock before entering the treatment room to ensure that you are ready for the session to begin. Your privacy is our utmost concern; you will be draped at all times during the session and only the part of the body being worked on will be uncovered. Your modesty will be respected at all times. You can also expect a peaceful and comfortable environment for your massage.

  • ​Scope of Practice: If a client presents with an ailment that is out of your massage therapists scope of practice, we will gladly refer that client to a professional who is qualified to work with that particular ailment. Massage therapist are not licensed to diagnose, but we always have the best interest of our clients in mind and will recommend seeing a doctor when necessary.​

  • Social Relationships and Behavior: Lastly, the relationship with our clients is strictly therapeutic. Sexual, abusive and/or inappropriate behavior will NOT be tolerated and will lead to the termination of the session. In this case, full payment for the session will be required.​
